Dr. Shaun Meckley, Owner and Veterinarian
In typical fashion, Dr. Shaun Meckley wishes you a good day! He is a 1996 graduate of Tyler Consolidated high school, and attended West Virginia University where he majored in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. Accepted into The Ohio State University Veterinary College, he spent his time learning about all species of animals. He graduated in 2003, and went to work in Pennsylvania at a mixed animal practice. He moved back home in 2008, and started Mountain Valley Veterinary Clinic with his marvelous wife, Carrie.
Dr. Meckley says “It was a good experience to get out and see some of the world. However, I enjoy being back in the area. I strive to provide high quality medicine in the years ahead to all the people of Wetzel/Tyler and the surrounding counties.”

Rueben and Newton have been apart of the clinic since it has started. They love coming to work everyday and seeing all of our clients. They are here for any patients needing blood transfusions and are also here to help anyone in grieving times. We pay them in dog biscuits!
